And while this game does not depict any particular conflict, it is still actually based on Siege of Sarajevo. With so many military games out there people sometimes might forget such obvious fact. Because most of us would obviously be not some badass rambos but average civilians locked up in a terrible reality of survival attempt inside of living hell, as this is what war truly is. First of all, it basically shows us what war truly is and gives possibility to most of gamers to roleplay what they would truly experience in the case of war. So, I am not fan of such indie survival games, but this game made a huge impression on me.
Another one which immediately comes into my mind would be Spec Ops: The Line. I don't know much of the games with so strong anti-war message like this This War of Mine.
